Q: Who films/edits my wedding film?

A: Our founder and fearless leader, Keller Glass, is on-site for every wedding.  Additional technicians are hired directly by Keller. We only hire professional camera operators with strong backgrounds in location shooting and well-developed photographic aesthetics. Keller also personally edits all of our films.

Q: When will I receive the film?

A: We will deliver all the the final edits within 4 weeks of the wedding day.

Q: When are deposits and balances due?

A: 50% secures your wedding date in our schedule. We require payment-in-full 2 weeks before the wedding date.

Q: Is there anything I can do to help make sure the film comes out perfect?

A: Here are a couple tips:

  • Ignore the camera and act naturally. We go out of our way to be discreet, but cameras can be a bit distracting if you’re not used to being filmed. The good news is you get used to them pretty quickly.
  • Provide us with photos of any family members, friends, etc. that you really want to see in the film, especially those who are not in the wedding party. It can be quite difficult for camera operators to know who is who at a wedding, especially a large wedding, so knowing the faces of people you want featured in the film helps enormously.
  • Relax and enjoy your special day!

Q: Most cinematographers use 2 shooters.  Why do you use 3?

A: The third technician is responsible for coordinating with the day-of planner, capturing audio, setting up time-lapse shots, moving equipment, and all the other little details that make the day go smoothly. In short, this person is responsible for all the things that can distract the camera operators from doing what they’re supposed to be doing: capturing moments. Can you shoot a wedding with two camera operators? Absolutely. But we feel that the third technician makes a demonstrable difference in the amount of time that the camera operators have to focus on capturing beautiful footage and, for that reason, we prefer to work with 3 instead of 2.

Q: What’s the shortest notice you need to shoot my wedding?

A: We need at least 4 weeks to coordinate staffing and equipment availability for a shoot.

Q: Can I request changes to the films?

A: We can accommodate a single list of changes within 2 weeks of delivery of the film.  We cannot guarantee that we’ll be able to address every change, but we will certainly do our best. Any changes above and beyond the initial list of changes are billed hourly.

Q: You shot my wedding a year ago. Do you still have the footage?

A: We keep copies of all the final edits we create; however, we only keep raw footage for 2 months after production. We have never had a data loss event (knock on wood), but we are equally susceptible to data loss as everyone else and, consequently, we cannot guarantee that we will still have your files more than couple months after your wedding. So please please please, make copies of your files as soon as you receive them from us and store them in different locations.

If you lose your files, we will do everything in our power to find copies for you, but please do not rely on us to archive your films.
