Owner and head baker Emily Woodward opened her dream bakery in February 2012. Emily was raised in Windsor, CT but has traveled extensively throughout her life. She spent the last few years wintering in Antarctica where she’s worked at McMurdo Station shuffling her time between the kitchen and the hydroponic garden. Lucky for you, she has decided to stick around a while with her fiancé and assistant baker, Kevin Tracy, who also shares her passion for baking. As Emily says, “Everything from this kitchen is made with love.”

Get Baked, conveniently located near the Windsor, CT train station in an antique auction house is a hip, hometown bakery. Get Baked features fresh-baked breads, muffins, coffee, cookies, and daily selection of deserts and breakfast options. We serve the finest organic coffee and prepare everything from scratch and by hand. Besides our everyday stapes like sweet challah bread and chocolate chip cookies, we also feature new items daily to mix it up a bit! Come in and relax in our comfortable seating area, read a book, use our wi-fi or take your treats and coffee to-go.

It really is a nice spot. Kathy and I are there most weekend mornings as it’s one of the very few places in the area she can get a delicious vegan breakfast treat!
